Open Source Software is all around us. Smartphones, websites and the internet all run on open source software. Even Microsoft, a long time critic of open source has drastically changed its views and now considers open source software a core part of its business.
But what is open source exactly? What does it mean for something to be open source? Why is it all around us and how does it work? This talk gives an introduction to open source and answers these and many other questions.
